WWE veteran thinks that Bianca Belair’s match on this week’s RAW was rushed (Exclusive)

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo feels the Triple Threat match with Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch and Bayley on WWE RAW this week ended too soon.

It was announced after the show started that the three stars would clash in the main event. If The Man or The Role Model won the match, they would be added to the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. WWE EST defeated them to be victorious, and as a result, they will not be competing within the unforgiving structure.

Talking to Dr. Chris Featherstone about the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s RAW LegionVince Russo stated that he is not a fan of long-lasting women’s matches, but believes that the triple threat match on WWE RAW ended too soon.

“These girls worked hard. There’s no question about that, bro. These girls always work so hard. But I think that, I think they let a lot of these women’s fights go on too long. And the more they go through, bro, the more exposed they’re going to be. And I actually think bro, even though this match was long, Chris, I think they went home too early. And I know they were promoting Elimination Chamber at the end, I don’t know. I think it was by design, bro. I think it was they went home too soon,” Russo said. [1:24:30-1:25:18]

Vince Russo on his criticism of WWE hiring

The former RAW head writer was part of the creative team during the Attitude Era, helping create stories and angles for superstars like The Undertaker, Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Vince Russo clarified that he doesn’t hate anyone in WWE and feels the product would be better if those above would pay attention to his criticism.

“I don’t hate anybody on this show, I don’t hate anybody that puts on this show. The critiques that I’m giving, I actually think if you paid attention to it, it would help you. And like I said bro, I think they’re making progress, bro. I think They’re moving forward, but I want to see a solid three-hour show, one time,” Russo said. [1:26:05 – 1:26:30]

Bianca Belair’s opponent for WrestleMania will be determined at WWE Elimination Chamber. It could be Asuka, Raquel Rodríguez, Carmella, Natalya, Liv Morgan or Nikki Cross.
