Will Smith wants to make one thing very clear:
He has no involvement in the never-ending allegations surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.
As you may have heard by now, Diddy is currently behind bars awaiting trial on multiple charges, many of which involve rape and sexual assault.
a growing scam
Earlier this week, Jay Z was embroiled in scandal after an unnamed accuser alleged that the hip hop legend raped her while she was with Diddy.
She was only 13 at the time of the alleged incident, which she claims took place in 2000.
Perhaps to avoid any legal drama of his own, Will denied any association with Diddy during a concert in San Diego on Thursday night.
“In the world we’re in right now, it’s really hard for all of you to understand what’s real and what’s true,” Will told the crowd in footage obtained by TMZ.
“I haven’t addressed any of this publicly, but I wanted to say it very clearly: I have nothing to do with Puffy, so you can stop all the memes.”
Will didn’t provide specifics regarding the memes, but it seems like he’s upset by some of the content circulating on social media.
“You can stop all those goons-t I’m not even close to those damn goons. I try to do a lot of my own thing, not talk bad about other people,” he added, referencing Diddy’s infamous sex parties.
“I was nowhere near that guy [or] No one has ever done anything that stupid, so whenever you hear that, it’s a big lie.”
Needless to say, Will was pretty adamant about his lack of any relationship with Diddy.
But he also kept things light, joking that he “don’t even like baby oil.” Clearly, Will doesn’t want to answer any Diddy-related questions, as Jay Z may have to do soon
What’s next for Didi?
As for the man at the center of it all, it looks like he’ll be locked up for a very long time.
Diddy’s bail requests have been repeatedly denied, as his accusers continue to come forward with horrific allegations of abuse.
The jailed hip hop mogul’s attorneys are maintaining his innocence.
When Diddy’s trial begins in May, he will get a chance to present his case in court.
But no matter how the case plays out, we think it’s safe to say that the court of public opinion has already reached its verdict.
