Is Kody Brown about to go from polygamy… to monogamy… to loneliness?
Over the past few episodes of Sister Wives, viewers have seen the self-centered reality star deal with the end of his platonic marriage to exes Christine, Meri, and Janelle.
Between playing the victim and feeling sorry for himself, Cody puts his marriage with Robyn in jeopardy.
The only brave/stupid woman to be with Kody has publicly wondered if she was stupid for doing this.
In response to speculation over the status of Robyn and Cody’s union, E! News met two women this week who are lucky enough to no longer have to deal with the father of 17 of their children.
For example, Christine told this outlet of Kody and Robyn, “I think they’re fine,” quickly and casually dismissing any talk of an impending divorce.
Janelle echoes this sentiment.
“I really feel like this is probably normal couple relationship dynamics,” she told E! Any problems between husband and wife that TLC fans have seen recently.
It is important to remember two things here:
One, producers will always edit content for ratings and drama.
Two, Sister Wives season 19 was filmed a year ago. So, any tension that is visible on screen is likely old news between Cody and Robyn.
“What is this, triple talaq in two years?” Christine also told E! His ex and the love of his life.
“So, there will probably be some things in their relationship that they have to figure out because it changes the dynamics of who you are as a person. But no… I’m sure they’ll be great together.”
On the recent premiere of this season, Cody admitted that “Robin and I are really in a conflict situation,” while Robin said:
“We are probably doing the worst thing ever in our marriage. roughing it. “It’s been tough between us.”
After separating from third wife Christine in November 2021, Kody split from second wife Janelle Brown in December 2022.
His first wife, Meri Brown, confirmed in January 2023 that they were divorced after more than 30 years together.
“He doesn’t know who to blame, himself or any one of the other wives,” Robin explained on the same season’s premiere. “Cody is feeling a lot of rejection. And so, I think he’s looking at me and saying, ‘Will you also reject me?’ I’m on my toes. I have to constantly make sure that he is not ruining our relationship.
In other words, once again…it’s all about Kody Brown.
“Robin and Cody are not doing well. They are very sad… [and] It’s getting worse,” a source previously told The Sun, adding:
“Robyn is not committed to stopping if things don’t change. The matter has reached just this far. Their marriage would not be able to sustain this kind of control.
“She will not allow her children to grow up in the same unstable, angry situation in which her other children grew up.
“Cody is turning into a mirror image [ex-husband] David. He took her children away from her and also took away her parental control. Do you think she’ll stick up for it? No.”
