As countless people saw over the weekend, 90 Day Fiancé: The Second Way Did not air on Sunday, 12 February.

Few fans knew this was coming.

Others discovered it to their horror. Some even add it up to (another) Discovery Plus score.

What happened? when is 90 Day Fiancé: The Second Way Season 4 returning?

On Sunday evening, a major American sporting event took place. It’s called the Super Bowl.

We’re not sure why someone put the infamously dangerous sporting event before and after Rihanna’s spectacular performance, but it is what it is.

Because a shocking amount of Americans watch the event each year, many television shows have had to get creative with their broadcast schedules to avoid unwanted ratings declines.

some shows, such as HBO’s Fantastic last of us series, revised its schedule to air early – releasing the usual Sunday night episode on Fridays.

(I heard that last of us Excellent but haven’t seen it myself; Watching to someone else I was sobbing to play the game, so I’m not sure I’m strong enough to watch the show)

90 Day Fiancé: The Second Way Chose a Different Route Season 4, Episode 3: Just Hangin’ for a Week.

This means that almost two weeks are going by unprecedentedly without any new episodes for the viewers.

(We say “almost” unprecedented because, you know, they did it just two months ago—except on December 25, a date on which many viewers celebrate the Christian holiday, Christmas.)

This halting fortnight is surprising the audience. Some viewers, anyway. After all, with over a dozen spinoffs, this show is basically Always But. Often there is more than one series running in the same week.

Admittedly, this time it’s a bit awkward. We are only two episodes into Season 4.

This means that the audience is barely getting to know the new cast.

Some haven’t even been introduced yet. And, in the case of Nicole Sherbini and Mahmoud ElSherbini, we literally met them in the last episode.

During the second episode, Nicole begins sharing her love story about Mehmood. This was his introductory debut.

She met Mahmud by chance during a spiritual trip to Egypt. The thirst was immediate. He got married.

When Episode 3 airs on February 19, Nicole will share more — including how their wedding involved breaking up someone else’s wedding, seemingly to please Mehmood’s family. who didn’t consider it legal Marriage is enough.

Season 4 has received praise from viewers for its long-awaited dose of LGBTQ+ representation.

To the show’s (partial) credit, they’ve always been reasonably good about including racial diversity. it goes with the premise of the show but it’s Is helped the series stand out from TLC’s usual programming of white, Christian families, who often lead counter-cultural or anachronistic lifestyles.

Still, the show hasn’t always done a good job of discouraging racist and xenophobic responses from viewers. Misbehavior has become even worse. But it appears that production is making an effort.

Krish and Jamie are a gay couple. Despite the amount of seasons and spinoffs, they are only the third gay couple on a “major” spinoff in this franchise.

Meanwhile, Gabrielle and Isabelle are a different form of representation – because Gabe is transgender.

Thus far, the show hasn’t been giving him or Isabel any sort of oblique editing – and Gabriel is a popular pick for fan-favorite on Season 4.

We really only have a few days to go, before Episode 3 airs.

It is likely that the show will very soon introduce a couple with the biggest age difference in the history of the franchise. Possibly on Sunday, if we can trust the teasers.

We do not know when the next stop of the show will happen. But when this happens, we need not panic.
