When Aubrey Huff equipped his sons to use firearms in the wake of Bernie Sanders’ 2019 presidential campaign

Former MLB star Aubrey Huff coached his sons on how to shoot at the shooting range after the “unlikely event” in which Bernie Sanders defeated Donald Trump in 2020.

Huff claimed that “knowing how to use a gun effectively under socialism will be a must” in a widely mocked Twitter post that appeared to refer to a civil war.

Along with the #2ndAmendment, his post included the accounts of the National Rifle Association and right-wing comedian Chad Prather.

“Train my guys how to use a gun in the unlikely event that @BernieSanders beats @realDonaldTrump in 2020. In which case, knowing how to use a gun effectively under socialism will be a must. By the way, most of the headshots were his.” . @NRA @WatchChad #2ndAmendment” – Aubrey Huff

One of the celebrities who commented on Huff’s post was Patricia Arquette.

“Are you warning your kids to never call the fire department or the police because that’s too socialist too? Or that they should never go to Europe because they have healthcare for everyone? Because America is so much more dangerous,” he tweeted in response.”

Huff responded when someone suggested contacting child protective services:

“This is the world we live in today. Teaching your children how to safely handle and shoot a gun at a legal shooting range is now grounds for your children to be taken from you.”

Since leaving baseball in 2012, Huff has worked as a color commentator.

Aubrey Huff won two World Series championships

He won two World Series championships with the San Francisco Giants in 2010 and 2012. He also opened up about his battles with anxiety and depression as a player.
