Mo Bamba was part of the crazy trade deadline after the Orlando Magic traded him to the LA Lakers in exchange for Patrick Beverley. After it was reported that Orlando traded him, Bamba quickly posted a photo of him with a U-Haul truck behind him, causing fans to go wild.
After multiple sources confirmed that Bamba’s trade was official, many thought it funny that he posted a photo on social media with a U-Haul truck.
Fortunately for fans, Bamba has a valid reason for the photo. She shared that the van was not for him, but for his mother.
“I swear to everything, that photo was, it was a divine moment and I had no idea I was going to be traded. And it looks like, you know, I had my stuff ready to go.”
added:
“But the U-Haul was actually for my mom. I had to move a few things to her house, but it seemed pretty fitting. So, you know, I just took the picture and wanted to thank the fans and the people of Orlando.”
Following their trade, Bamba thanked the Orlando Magic before leaving for Los Angeles.

Mo Bamba gives the Lakers an upgrade on the defensive end
The Lakers have had trouble finding a reliable rim saver outside of Anthony Davis. Fortunately for the team, his recent trade for Bamba will boost his defensive identity.
Bamba averages one block per game and can also stretch the defense when necessary. He is averaging 7.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists so far this season.
