In May 2023, Gaines took to her Instagram to celebrate Victoria on Mother’s Day.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better female example for @itshazelmonet,” he praised. “You’re nailing this motherhood thing, my love. I’m so proud of you and I love you.”
Victoria responded in a comment, saying: “I love you and I wouldn’t be half the mum I am without you and the way you support me!”
We’re sure John Gaines will be singing Victoria Monet’s praises when she performs at the BET Awards on Sunday, June 30. She was actually one of the first to be announced.
