We finally have our answer, Bravo viewers.
kinda. Sorta.
In August, we wondered whether Vanderpump Rules would return for season 12 amid cast feuds and various controversies.
This issue became more prominent when we learned that the long-running series had no filming at all last summer.
Now, meanwhile, the network has announced that season 12 will air sometime in 2025 — but it will include Lisa Vanderpump and “a new group of actors.”Intimate sura-verses that are intricately linked with each other like their iconic predecessors“According to a press release.
Production on the new season will begin next year and the premiere date and cast will be confirmed at a later date.
“How thrilling it is to recreate and build on the legacy of this series,” executive producer Alex Baskin said in a statement Tuesday.
“With a deep appreciation for the original group and their iconic performances, we can’t wait for audiences to see a dynamic new group of colleagues and friends make their way in life together.”
Vanderpump Rules debuted in 2013 as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and then grew into its own fairly popular franchise.
The show originally followed Vanderpump and the then-staff of her restaurant Sur (Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder) as they attempted to resolve professional and personal conflicts.
Throughout the year, the cast of Vanderpump Rules has grown to include Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, and many more.
The show hit its pop culture peak in Season 10 when we learned that Taylor cheated on Ariana Madix with her good friend and co-worker Rachel Lewis.
The series also earned an Emmy nomination for season 10, although it became known as Scandoval Division arose in the cast as some former stars were upset Ariana refused to film scenes with Sandoval.
It turned into a huge mess. For understandable reasons.
“The past 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary journey filled with laughter, tears, and everything in between,” Vanderpump said in a statement on Nov. 26.
“I can’t thank those people enough who have shared their lives. How much I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Good luck to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.
Vanderpump Rules expanded into its own spinoff earlier this year, with The Valley recently renewed for a second season.
Fans will also have the opportunity to bid farewell to the original cast when a retrospective special airs before the new season.
“Let’s just say there’s no more story to tell. Correct? There are only two people to blame for this and they are Sandoval and Raquel. Ariana, I will always be a cheerleader [for her]Vanderpump said during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live last month.
“She was absolutely fantastic on Broadway. I heard she killed it on Love Island. I never watched the show and certainly didn’t start watching because we weren’t any good.
Vanderpump Rules is currently streaming on Peacock.
