Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift will separate later this month and will release a prepared statement that both parties agreed upon in writing long ago.
If a shocking new report is to be believed, that is the case.
Earlier this week, Reddit users were stunned to discover a leaked contract — reportedly written by PR firm Full Scope — that contained actual excerpts from this alleged joint statement.
The idea here is that Kelsey and Swift’s public romance was nothing but a publicity stunt… and it was always going to end by the end of 2024.
The alleged statement said, “Travis and Taylor have, after careful consideration, decided to separate.”
“They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for their privacy during this time.”
“They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.”
The contract also stated that the break-up announcement would focus on Kelce growing as a person, with any separation being a “natural part of life”.
In the real world, of course, Kelsey is basically living with Swift.
Yes, initially there was some buzz that the relationship was a sham and both parties were involved in it only to gain attention.
But anyone who has seen the smile on Kelsey’s face when he talks about Swift still can’t believe it; no one can listen to Kelsey talk about Swift and not see how attracted Kelsey is to Swift.
Along the same lines, Kelce’s PR company has strongly disputed this rumored contract.
Full Scope released a statement of its own this week (a statement that was published in 2014). Real The first (we must emphasize) says that the joint statement being circulated on social media is “completely false and fabricated and was not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”
“We have deployed our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and harmful falsification of documents,” the company told the Daily Mail.

Taylor Swift was the most successful solo artist in music history before she met Travis Kelsey.
And Kelce was arguably the best tight end to ever play in the National Football League.
None of these stars needed anyone else to advance their careers.
It is a sad situation when some cynics start questioning the authenticity of emotions, just because the people who have such feelings are famous.
Kelsey and Swift are definitely going to get married and have lots of cute babies and we can’t wait to cheer them on every step of the way.
