As such, Tom Selleck has no contractual requirement to make himself look a certain way. This is a time when people often see actors cutting back, cutting their hair, or making other adjustments to strict diets and exercise routines.
But for Tom Selleck , 79, his new look is just plain weird. Eyewitnesses recently spotted his facial hair in a very different state (and yes, you can see it below).
As Parade According to reports, eyewitnesses spotted Tom Selleck doing some work near his farmhouse in Thousand Oaks, California.
Usually, he sports the distinctive mustache that has been a hallmark of his face for longer than most of us have been alive. This time, however, he sported a full beard.
Plus, Selleck’s casual attire — normal clothes like shorts and a t-shirt — was a far cry from what people see him in at events and on television. Probably because he was, you know, out running errands.

Apparently, Tom Selleck looked a little more at ease in his recent interview, in which he shared old Hollywood stories with Ted Danson.
This time he was not going out for any work. But despite his less casual dress, he still had a slight beard.
Technically, he still has his mustache. He hasn’t removed it. But the presence of the rest of the beard makes it a less defining feature and, well, just a part of the beard.
Some old fans may be surprised to know that Tom Selleck wasn’t born with a mustache like that. When he made his acting debut the young and the RestlessHe appeared fresh-faced and clean-shaven.
