Tiffany Franco took to Instagram this week to make a confession.
On the one hand, it’s the answer to a question many fans have had for months.
But also… some thoughts should just stay personal, you know? No Everything There needs to be a confession. Not even in the age of social media.
On the Instagram video, Tiffany wrote a caption while her face reacted with well-meaning embarrassment.
“Once upon a time I got my ex husband back to prove to his girlfriend that he liked me more,” she wrote.
Tiffany, no! That’s a terrible motive for making that kind of life decision, even if you don’t have kids! And you have two!
Tiffany wrote in the caption with her post, “I feel very stupid seeing all this.” Yes. Very.
He then invited his fans, followers and detractors to “use the comments section to roast me”.
Perhaps Tiffany wanted to share this confession for closure. Perhaps it was just fodder for social media engagement.
Or… perhaps Tiffany wanted to take charge of the narrative in some small degree.
“Woman mindlessly reconciling with a child who misbehaves at times” is not a great look.
While “woman reconciling with another woman one last time to prove a point” sounds pretty petty, Tiffany may feel it casts her in a different light. Or, at least, that it strikes Ronald.
According to Tiffany’s previous statements, she arrived in South Africa to see Ronald and to meet her daughter, Carly.
Fan-favorite son Daniel didn’t join them this time. Daniel is aging, and although he has bonded with Ronald, one assumes he has caught on to their idle demeanor. (besides, you know, he has school and stuff)
However, it wasn’t just a custody visit with their young daughter. Tiffany and Ronald were giving their marriage an incredible, improbable new chance.
According to Tiffany, she had just arrived in South Africa when she spoke on the phone with Ronald’s girlfriend. Whoops!
The girlfriend believed that Tiffany was only there to bring Carly along for a visit. She was living with Tiffany Ronald’s mother. This is not true – because Tiffany was sharing a bed with Ronald (her husband).
