We are just a few days away from making history.
On July 8, Jane Tran will debut as the first Bachelorette of Asian-American descent.
And while we’re excited for Tran’s journey to begin, in which she’ll choose from a number of handsome and available men, many ABC viewers are already thinking far ahead.
These are thoughts on the upcoming season of The Bachelor.
In May, the network renewed the franchise one more time, which comes as no surprise to anyone when you consider the low costs associated with production … as well as the success of Joey Graziadei in the lead role earlier this year.
However:
No premiere date has been announced for Season 29 yet.
And, most notably, no one has been chosen as the actual Bachelor.
This is not unusual. Chances are that the anchor for the next series will come from Tran’s season; producers will select one of the finalists to be sent home before the final rose is given.

Plus, one popular former Bachelorette boyfriend has made it clear he would still consider falling in love as the main Bachelor.

“I would never rule it out,” Cameron previously said of the fun challenge.
“I think it’s a tremendous honor to be the Bachelor. I’m a big believer that life is the greatest story you can tell. One day I want to tell my grandchildren, ‘I did this.’
“And maybe if I do The Bachelor, it’ll be something like, ‘Yeah, I met your mother on this show and there were 30 other women there, but she was the only one, son.’
“I don’t know. I think maybe one day it would be cool. It’s just not in my control right now, but maybe one day it will be.”
Cameron was a contestant when Hannah Brown was The Bachelorette.
Brown and Cameron briefly rekindled their romance after she broke off her engagement to her season’s winner Jed Wyatt, before Cameron was in a months-long relationship with Gigi Hadid.
However, as far as we know right now, Cameron is single.
He still watches and stays involved with the franchise, recently even commenting on the Golden Bachelor divorce between Gerry Turner and Theresa Nyst.
He still looks great.
Does this mean Cameron will definitely become the Bachelor for Season 29?
No, it’s actually not likely.
But it will be announced in the next few months and the new episodes will likely air in 2025.
