A very bad Tuesday night just got really bad for Donald Trump.
Just minutes after Vice President Kamala Harris criticized a convicted felon in a debate — at one point prompting Trump to claim that “people on TV” were saying immigrants are eating pets — the following incident eventually occurred:
Taylor Swift endorsed Harris for President of the United States.
“Like many of you, I watched tonight’s debate,” the superstar wrote in a lengthy statement on social media.
“If you haven’t done so yet, now is a good time to research the issues and get to know the candidates’ stances on the topics that are most important to you.
“As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything about his proposed policies and plans for this country.”
Swift then referenced the weak and desperate attempt Trump made a few weeks ago to try to pretend he had her support.
“Recently I learned that ‘my’ AI falsely supporting Donald Trump’s presidency was posted on their site,” the artist added.
“It really highlighted my fears about AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It led me to the conclusion that as a voter I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election.”
“The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
Taylor then dropped the truth bomb that Trump has feared for years could soon explode.
Swift wrote:
I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential election.
I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for rights and issues that I believe need a warrior.
I understand that he is a determined and talented leader and I believe we can achieve a lot in this country if we lead with peace instead of chaos.
I was so excited and inspired by the selection of her fellow candidate @timwalz who has been championing LGBTQ+ rights, IVF and women’s right to their own bodies for decades.
Swift stayed out of politics until October 2018, when she endorsed several Democratic candidates in her home state of Tennessee.
In the midst of the highest-grossing tour in music history, with a passionate fan base like any celebrity, many onlookers are wondering if Swift will get involved in the 2024 presidential election.
Now we have our answer.
“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,” he concluded.
“Your research is entirely yours, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first-time voters: remember that you have to be registered to vote! I also think it’s easier to vote early.
“I will provide registration locations and early voting dates and information in my story.”
Swift, who loves cats, signed her message, “Childless cat lady,” referring to the words used by Trump’s fellow candidate J.D. Vance to describe the people he believes are ruining the country.
We guess your move would be Kid Rock.
