Taylor Swift won’t be attending Thanksgiving with Kelce’s family.
Even though Travis Kelce may have missed some of Taylor’s final shows due to his football schedule, they are still together.
And surely, after such a whirlwind year of their relationship, they would celebrate Thanksgiving together?
apparently not.
Taylor Swift will skip Thanksgiving, Donna Kels will do the dishes
On Thursday, November 14, Donna Kelce appeared on NBC Today show.
Perhaps the country’s most famous “boy mom”, Donna’s sons, Jason and Travis Kelce, are both football stars. Even with Jason retired and Travis dating the most famous woman on the planet, he still has his hands full.
But as far as Taylor Swift attending Thanksgiving, she says she probably won’t be attending the holiday dinner. “I don’t think so,” Donna Kelce admitted on camera.

“He is very busy right now. In reference to Taylor Swift’s ongoing Erasure Tour, Donna Kels pointed out, “She’s still got to do her tour.”
The beloved songstress and newly minted billionaire launches Eras Tour in the first half of 2023. It won’t end until Sunday, December 8th.
But Taylor Swift won’t be the only one attending Thanksgiving this year.
Like Taylor Swift, Donna Kels will also not attend Thanksgiving event
Donna Kelsey explained: “I’m going to attend a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving.
If you don’t know — something many of us have learned since Taylor started dating Travis — football is often a Thanksgiving tradition. In this case, Travis’ team, the Chiefs, is scheduled to play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday, November 29.
Donna Kelles said “football is always the holidays” for the Kelles family. Travis and Jason’s careers have made sure of that. “I think we’re just going to be in the football game,” he said.
At the moment, both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are doing great.
Travis won two consecutive Super Bowls. His team is also in a winning streak. Of course, Taylor has reached new heights of success with her record-breaking world tour.
One could say they have a lot to be grateful for. However, skipping Thanksgiving doesn’t mean Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift aren’t grateful. They’re just, you know, Very good Busy being successful.

Taylor Swift has almost certainly dated people whose families don’t understand why someone who can theoretically set her own schedule wouldn’t take the week of Thanksgiving off.
But a football family like the Kelces won’t feel the same way. They are used to big, unforgettable events in huge arenas in front of thousands of fans. And they know that these programs require people to travel a lot.
Taylor Swift’s performance isn’t exactly football. But there’s enough overlap that skipping Thanksgiving isn’t a big deal.
