Tammy Slaton is living her best life these days.
In the latest episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, viewers saw the star reach an impressive milestone.
She lost enough weight to qualify for gastric bypass surgery, yelling on the air after looking down at the scale that read 534 pounds:
“I feel thrilled, proud, excited – just all the feelings. I proved everyone wrong. Everyone who doubted me, finally I got mine! My so-and-so moment!
This episode was filmed several months ago.
We’ve seen Tammy actually go through the process — and we’ve also seen the incredible results since then.
In early January, Slaton uploaded some stunning photos of herself losing a massive amount of weight.
It was quite a drastic and welcome change from the situation Tammy found herself in at the end of 2021… when she was hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma.
“They’re just telling us that his lungs have given up and it’s like his body is shutting down,” Tammy’s sister told viewers.
“So at this time, we are faced with making funeral arrangements for my little sister…
“She’s been in such a bad place for so long. She waited too long. And now that she has the courage to reach out and get the help she needs, now this.”
Fast forward to this time, meanwhile? And look how far Tammy has come:
Tammy just shared a video on TikTok, of which we have taken a screen capture above.
What a change, huh?!?
The TLC personality titled the footage “OOTD”, which stands for “outfit of the day”.
Slayton incorporated electronic music to accompany the video, while wearing a charcoal gray graphic T-shirt with “Don’t ask me why. Ask me how” written on a scroll in front of a rose.
Look at that red hair too!
Of course, Slaton doesn’t just look like a new woman.
She has a new man!
The star married Caleb Willingham last November, whom they met in the abandoned parking lot of a rehab facility.
How are things going between the newlyweds these days?
“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Slaton recently told E! News of her taking vows with Caleb Willingham just two months ago. “God really blessed me.”
