Like father like son?
In the case of Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton, it’s unfortunately about to end these days:
Like sister like sister.
As you know by now, Amy Slaton is in the midst of a pretty ugly split from her husband of four years, Michael, whom Amy has accused of mental abuse and manipulation.
Now, meanwhile, many observers have reason to believe that Tammy may also be filing to legally end their marriage in the near future.
Last Thursday, the 1000-Pound Sisters cast member edited her bio to remove the last name Willingham and add the last name Slayton.
Tammy previously made amends in the opposite direction after marrying a fellow rehab patient named Caleb Willingham in November 2022.
“You all knew me as Tammy Slaton, but now you’ll all know me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham,” she told People magazine at the time. “I’m married now!”
In the weeks that follow, Tammy continues to obsess over Caleb and the status of their union.
“It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Tammy told E! News in January, for example, of an exchange of vows with Willingham. “God really blessed me.”
About two months later, however, a report in The Sun indicated that things could be worse.
And they apparently did so in view of it being a time of celebration for Tammy; After leaving a rehab center in Ohio, she met her eventual husband.
Caleb, you see, had to move Separate facility close to his wife’s home in Kentucky soon after Slaton moved out – but he made no move to do so, The Sun claimed.
“Tammy is sad that her husband isn’t with her,” an insider told this outlet in March.
“She’s disappointed that Caleb hasn’t made an effort to move from Ohio to a facility in Kentucky.
“They’re arguing because she feels he’s not handling the immediate transfer.”
As far as we know, Caleb remains at the same rehab facility as before.
Neither he nor Tammy has commented on the rumors of an impending divorce, although Willingham has written some cryptic messages on Facebook.
One of them reads “God’s plan”, which could easily be interpreted as a sign that their relationship is nearing the end.
For her part, Tammy has welcomed Amy into her abode since the latter is no longer living with her husband – which means Tammy is helping to take care of young nephews Gage and Glenn.
Because of the stress of the situation, Tammy is reportedly “angry” that Willingham isn’t around to help, according to the aforementioned 1000-Pound Sisters insider.
The Sun writes, “She feels like she’s single again.”

After watching the bio change, some Tiktok users gave correct answers and asked questions.
“No more Tammy Wilhelm?” one person asked after noticing the revised name, while several others questioned how “married life” is treating her in anticipation of an update.
