Jarrett “JT” Thomas has an announcement to make.

Ahead of the debut of season 10 of Southern Charm on December 5, the star has released a statement confirming that he will not be a part of the upcoming episodes.

“It is with great sadness that I share that I have resigned from Southern Charm,” JT wrote on Instagram late Friday, November 8.

“Yesterday I informed Bravo that I will not be participating in the remaining 2-3 green room interviews before the 12/5 broadcast (I have done about 9~9 interviews to date) and I no longer wish to participate in any way. Let’s move on with the TV shows.

Shocking, isn’t it?!?

To be clear and specific, principal photography on the latest season concluded earlier this year; But the cast is still filming confessionals that are based on the events that happened.

In his message, the reality star – who joined the show as a full-time cast member just last year – revealed he was simply tired after filming.

He did not give further information.

“I’ll just leave it at that,” JT wrote.

“However, I am working on the next steps to recover physically and mentally from an extremely challenging and exhausting year.”

A press release for season 10 of Southern Charm signals a “new era” for the main players as they celebrate “a decade of sipping sweet tea and spilling the beans on the Charleston social scene.”

“The Charmers find themselves at the intersection of familiar feuds and redrawn boundaries,” the press release said.

“Once Charleston’s most rowdy, the group appears to be committed to business, family, and health, but growing pains are inevitable as fractures in their new life plans quickly surface.”

In a preview released several days ago, JT is seen flirting with fellow cast member Venita Aspen and is also accused by Craig Conover of calling show matriarch Patricia Altschul a “b-titch.”

This flirtation with Venita in the season 10 teaser comes a week before the Bravo personality debuted his new girlfriend, Ali Perales, on social media.
