As you may have heard by now, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have broken up.
There’s been no official announcement, but Megan removed every photo of MGK from her Instagram page, then made a cryptic reference to “the walk.”[ing] Distant.”
Then she unfollowed the guy, followed Eminem (her longtime rival) and deleted her account.
So yes, whatever is going on with these two is not right.
It may take some time before we know exactly what happened, but a comment by Megan may have shed some light on the situation.
“He probably got along with Sophie,” wrote one Instagram user, prompting Fox to respond, “Maybe I got along with Sophie.”
“Sophie” here is Sophie Lloyd, who played guitar in MGK’s band on their latest tour.
Sophie is a favorite among MGK fans, beloved for both her paring skills and her brash, outspoken demeanor.
A recent post on Sophie’s website reads, “I started playing guitar at about 10 years old after listening to Led Zeppelin in the car with my dad.”
“Because I was a bit of an extrovert, I had a lot of time to practice and it helped me escape reality, helped me get over my worries and really gave me a sense of satisfaction.”
Sophie excitedly shared the news with fans when she was chosen to join Kelly’s world tour last spring.
“The secret is out! I will be joining Machine Gun Kelly on his Mainstream Sellout Tour this year!!” Lloyd wrote on Instagram at the time.

In the months since the tour ended, Sophie has repeatedly spoken about her famous friend and collaborator.
“Touring with Machine Gun Kelly was amazing,” Lloyd told NME in November 2022.
“It was like one big family, and I felt very comfortable and safe going in. I also love how he uses his music to tell a story and convey a message.
So is there any truth to the rumor that MGK cheated on Megan with Sophie?
Well, she definitely seems to be his type, but as of now, it’s all just speculation.
It seems like Megan and MGK are through, but we haven’t seen any cheating allegations or even a formal break up announcement.
But these two share a taste for melodrama, so you can be sure they’ll soon be telling their conflicting stories in public.
