TLC has not confirmed season 19 yet sister WivesBut the stars of the beloved franchise have done just that.
The question is, what will that look like, given all that’s happening?
Between new weddings, a cancer scare, and the shocking news of the death of one of Kody’s sons, Season 19 is set to be emotional.
Here’s what we know so far.
‘Sister Wives’ season 19 premiere date leaked by Mykelti Brown
Lately, Mykelti Brown and her husband Tony Padron have teamed up for several YouTube videos, and most recently they told fans they are moving from Utah to North Carolina.
“My mom, she’s happy with our adventure,” Micheletti said recently of Christine Brown’s reaction to the decision.
“She supports our decisions because we’re doing this for ourselves as a family, but she’s also very sad that we’re leaving her.”
Along with this explosive news, a Reddit user wrote the following online this week, quoting Christine’s daughter:
Mykelti says season 19 will air in late August or early September,
This person also pointed out that Mykelti dropped a number of hints about what viewers should expect from Sister Wives Season 19:
“This season will feature her pregnancy with twins, as well as Christine and David dating.”
We cannot verify if these spoilers are accurate.
But here’s the thing: Christine married David Woolley in October.
The ceremony was even filmed for a TLC special.
Were these upcoming episodes really filmed so long ago that we’ll only be able to see them now in Season 19?
“It still amazes me how far behind real time this show is,” wrote one angry Reddit user after reading the same post and learning this new information.
“We already had a special for Christine’s wedding, and now they’re going to show her dating her current husband, who we saw her marry? How stupid.”
David Woolley joins ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 in a big way
Regardless of the timeline, Christine Brown sat down with us to talk. People Magazine in early 2024 and made it clear that David will be in the new season.

“People are going to see a lot of the two of us together,” Brown told the publication in a joint interview with David, adding: “I’m really excited for everyone to meet David more, because he’s really genuine.”

“We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives while raising our beautiful children and supporting our amazing family.”
Christine later met Woolley on a dating website and they made their relationship public on Valentine’s Day 2023.

David is already used to the camera
Christine and David get married in October 2023, and thus her career in reality TV begins to take off.

But with Season 19, he’ll be working as a cast member for the first time.

However, he has accepted this new aspect of his life.

Meri Brown is returning to ‘Sister Wives’ despite differences with family
Over the past few years, it has become apparent that Mary has become estranged from her family.
After leaving Kody, her relationships with the other wives began to deteriorate. One thing is that she wasn’t at Christine’s wedding. Another is that she sat separately from Janelle and the kids at Garrison’s memorial (more about that in a moment.)
However, whatever drama is happening with the other ladies, Meri is still a part of the TV family. She has confirmed this. Miss Understood Podcast In a conversation with Rachel Uchitel, she said she will be back in season 19.
“I’ll be around,” she insisted, though she didn’t give any details about filming the show. She simply said, “I’m very excited. I’m not going anywhere.”
How will ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 deal with Garrison Brown’s death?
While the family seemed ready to begin another season, things took a devastating turn on March 5. That’s when it was announced that Janelle and Kody’s son, Garrison, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
The news saddened the entire world, as the young man was 25 years old and just starting to rebuild his life in Arizona. Garrison had a falling out with his famous father, but he was still very close to his mother.
Unless the show gets canceled, it’s very likely that what the family has gone through after his demise will be depicted in the next season of the show.
In fact, according to reports Sun It has been suggested that the show was actually under production at the time of his death.
“It’s very sad, but his unexpected death happened during filming,” a family source told the outlet.
Garrison’s strained relationship with father Cody was the focus of the family last season and the source claims TLC “would like to keep the storyline going and fans are hoping to learn what happened to him.”
“I can’t imagine any of this not being filmed,” he said, adding, “I don’t know how far it will go and how deep the family will go.”
Is ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 Canceled Until 2024?
From what we’ve heard, the show’s cancellation seems unlikely. No doubt, the family will want to let fans know their next step following this tragedy.
But who will play the lead role in the show?
This would include Christine and David; the now-single Janelle Brown; Meri Brown and possibly her new ex-boyfriend; and then Kody and Robyn Brown, who are legally married.
