Saudi Arabia stock markets close lower; Tadawul All Shares Down 0.27% By Investing.com



Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks closed lower this Sunday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.27%.

The best performer of the session was Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:), rising 9.94% or 5.40 points to close at 59.70. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which gained 8.44% or 1.64 points to close at 21.06 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 6.34% or 9.00 points, until ending the session at 151.00.

At the bottom of the index was National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.49%, that is, 5.80 points, to close at 160.40. Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:) fell 3.06%, 0.58 points, to close at 18.38 and Energy and water company Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:), which was down 2.93% or 1.60 points to 53.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 157 to 147 and 32 ended unchanged.

Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:) shares rose to all-time highs; up to 9.94% or 5.40 to 59.70. Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) shares rose to all-time highs; increasing by 6.34% or 9.00 to 151.00.

Crude oil for February delivery rose 1.13% or 0.83 to $73.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in March rose 0.76% or 0.58 to hit $76.51 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in February fell 0.76% or 0.58. 54%, 14.30, to $2,654.70 per troy ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.52% to 3.87, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

US dollar index futures were down 0.38% at 108.80.
