Stop us if you’ve heard this before, but…
Ryan Edwards was arrested last week on charges of drunk driving and possession of a controlled substance.
According to preliminary reports, the former Teen Mom member was taken into custody for violating the terms of his recent probation. before this Arrested for stalking his ex-wife, Mackenzie.
But our friends over at The Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed over the weekend that Edwards was indeed booked on a pair of the serious allegations above.
“Ryan was arrested at Chattanooga State College,” a source told The Ashley, further elaborating:
“His charge is listed [the sheriff’s office] Treated the website as a violation of probation because technically it violated those terms. But that’s what he was raised for on Friday.
Edwards, according to the same insider, is being held at the Hamilton County Jail and will remain there until April 20, at the earliest.
On that date, Ryan will appear in court for the hearing.
The past several months have been quite an eventful one for Ryan Edwards.
Back on February 9, Ryan sent Mackenzie threatening text messages and was served with an order of protection by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office after she was accused of fraud.
In the wake of this alleged infidelity, Edwards also posted scantily clad photos of her husband without his permission.
“If you guys have never seen spineless sh-t this is the one,” Ryan wrote alongside the topless photos.
“They sleep your money who sees them. But he must have a wife [sic], God what a joke. It’s really sad.”
On 1 March, Edwards was arrested for following her about, breaching the terms of the said order and contacting Mackenzie via text message.
“My God I don’t want to live my life without you! Apologize!” He wrote at that time.
The father of three children reached out to her again in a text on February 23, writing: “For what it’s worth, I’m sorry and I miss you.”
The arrest comes days after Mackenzie filed for divorce and was granted temporary custody of the couple’s children, Jagger, five, and Stella, two, reported E! news.
Meanwhile, Mackenzie told police in March that her husband “punched holes in walls and doors” and held her “by the neck to the wall” during a fight last month.
She also accused Edwards of “throwing her down the hallway and saying if he can’t have me no one can” and “opened [his] pocket knife” and put it back “like he was going to kill him”.
The argument reportedly took place in front of the couple’s children.
“I tried to leave, he smashed my phone, took my car keys,” McKenzie said.

Edwards was given a sentence of 11 months and 29 days last month, which was suspended after he agreed to go to rehab and fulfill probation terms.
But now that he’s left rehab and broken these probation terms?
Edwards is likely to go to prison for a very long time.
