Ryan Edwards ended a wild and crazy week in wild and crazy fashion.
At the time of this writing, the former Teen Mom cast member remains behind bars.
Edwards was arrested Friday and charged with violating a protective order after several social media posts accused his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, of infidelity.
It now appears that it was Mackenzie who informed the authorities about his wife.
On Thursday, Edwards shared a scathing photo of Mackenzie, blasting her as a “spineless slut” in the caption and adding at the time:
“They sleep your money who sees them. But he must have a wife [sic], God what a joke. It’s really sad.”
According to In Touch Weekly, Mackenzie called the police on her husband shortly after, and Ryan was charged with violating an order of protection.
He Too told officers that Ryan had had contact with her father, Bob Standifer, another violation of the protective order.
In late January, Edwards went public with these cheating claims for the first time, telling social media followers that he wanted a divorce.
But then after a few days he retracted.
And then she posted revenge porn-type photos and got arrested.
Just before being taken into custody, Edwards – who has struggled with drug addiction for years and been in and out of rehab on several occasions – was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and “two bags of suspected narcotics”. was found.
“During today’s conversation with Mackenzie, it was revealed that Ryan had breached the order of protection by contacting her father on Thursday, advising him to tell Mackenzie that he would return to the residence the same day to collect his belongings. Will be for,” the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release today.
“While looking into the issue of breaking an order of protection, HCSO representatives learned that Ryan had an active warrant for harassment that was taken out by the Chattanooga Police Department.
“Mackenzie was listed as a victim in that incident.

Edwards wrote online on 29 January
“Tomorrow can’t get here so soon! Do you know what happens when you lay with dogs? … wait look who I’m talking to.
“And then blame it on my addiction yeah divorce is the right thing [sic],
Mackenzie, for her part, has removed almost all photos from her Instagram account that featured Ryan… and has removed the word “wife” from her Instagram bio as well.
To be specific, Edwards is facing three charges: possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and harassment.
A hearing has been set for March 30; And it’s unclear at this time whether Edwards will remain behind bars until then.
Prior to his arrest, Edwards spoke to The Sun and made the following allegations:
“I definitely feel sorry for my kids. I thought they needed to see us together and work on it…
“She got mad because her image wouldn’t be the same. She just is, how she looks.
Edwards also told the outlet that he was “ready” to get divorced and wanted to “find a good woman.”
