The Real Housewives of New Jersey It must be cancelled. That’s it, we said it.
If you think it’s too early to say goodbye to the franchise, you’re in the minority.
The latest season of the Teresa Giudice-focused series debuted on May 6 to very little fanfare … with Episode 3 ratings dropping to a franchise low.
Now, this season won’t even have the fan-favorite reunion episode as there’s a lot of animosity between the stars.
Is The Real Housewives of New Jersey canceled forever? It looks like it might be
The May 20 episode only garnered 699,000 total viewers, a mere 160,000 of which were the advertiser-friendly demographic of 18-49 year olds.
Is America finally fed up with these Garden State residents?
Specifically, they may have grown tired of the program becoming all about Giudice and, in fact, Giudice Only Has this been going on for several years?
Teresa isn’t very likable, and at this point she’s not even very interesting.
The Season 14 trailer made it clear that the focus will once again be on Teresa this spring and summer.
The main storyline so far has centered on Teresa’s marriage to Luis Ruelas, a controversial man who “wasted her money,” according to a cast member via the above preview.
There’s also tension between Margaret Josephs and her friends Jane Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider, the latter two of whom have struck up a new relationship with, you guessed it… Teresa.
“Who do you want to align yourself with?” Josephs asked Fessler, later referring to Jackie as “Judas” in a conversation with Joe while discussing their differences.
“Do you want to tell Teresa everything you’ve been doing behind her back?”
Jackie responded, “I’m friends with whoever I want to be friends with, and I don’t care!”
Will an explosive fight save the show?
The trailer also shows a scuffle that took place at a New Jersey restaurant. It seems like this won’t happen until the finale, but maybe the highlights are what will keep fans hooked.
Rachel Fuda had some words with Giudice this season, yelling at her in one scene:
“You’re such a badass, Teresa,” she says.
Giudice then responded: “Don’t poke that bear.”
The reaction of many viewers here will probably be, “We are tired of seeing this bear over and over again for so long.”
Did Bravo make a mistake bringing back Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Fuda, Goldschneider? And Has Fessler been cast for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14?
Now it is beginning to feel like that.
Why was the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special Cancelled?
That’s already clear, as news has it that the latest season of RHONJ won’t even have a reunion episode.
Season 14 will end without any resolution, as for the first time in the series’ history, there won’t be a traditional reunion.
during an appearance Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Teresa broke the news of her refusal to attend the Bravo reunion directly to Andy during the show that aired Sunday, June 9. It’s obvious the other women won’t be appearing with her, but there’s probably a good reason for it.
Teresa revealed that she had already formulated a strategy for how she would deal with the ongoing feud with Rachel Fuda and her husband John Fuda, and she was going to bring it all up at this reunion special.
“It’s too bad we’re not having a reunion because I was about to bring an envelope and I was about to take something out of the envelope,” Teresa said, referencing a moment from the Season 13 reunion when John showed off an envelope containing alleged proof that Giudice’s husband, Luis Ruelas, was investigating his family — though he never opened the envelope.
“I was going to bring it up tonight, but I want to make sure we meet again,” Teresa said, but Andy quickly dodged the question. “Maybe we’ll call you back before the end of the season,” he said.
