Rafael Nadal fans in the United States may be disappointed not to see him in action during the upcoming Sunshine Double, but not all hope is lost. The Spaniard has promised them that he will be in the country over the summer for the hard court tour of North America, which also includes the US Open.

“It’s been a while since I haven’t communicated with you. I took my time off, started rehabilitation, gym and physiotherapy as per the instructions of the doctors. Preparing to return in the best conditions,” Nadal said.
