Piers Morgan said, “One thing is indisputable, and that’s that the separate announcements perfectly convey the very different lives these two couples now have.”
He decided to call Meghan and Harry “two spoiled rebels who abandoned royal duty and service for a life of Hollywood glitz and glamour,” an ill-timed bit of self-promotion for a series about a sport so elitist it only millionaires can play.
Piers Morgan fumed: “Regardless of whether Meghan and Harry deliberately released their promo early to try to spoil Kate and William’s big announcement, or just to [capitalize] It instantly received megaton-sized global attention, dropping like unwanted pigeon poop on the sidewalk.”
