Virat Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma, recently attended the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday, April 10.
The Bollywood actress turned heads with her lively reactions in the stands at a game where Virat Kohli put on a show with the bat, scoring 61 off just 44 balls, including four sixes and as many limits. It was Kohli’s second half-century in IPL 2023 for RCB at home.

Anushka seemed equally pleased with Kohli’s exceptional catch to sack LSG captain KL Rahul and bring RCB back into the competition.
It is worth mentioning that Virat Kohli has been exceptional in IPL 2023. So far, the right-hander has scored 164 runs in just three games. He recently snapped an unbeaten 82 when the Bengaluru-based franchise beat the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by eight wickets.
The 34-year-old will now look to continue his bat-wielding heroism as RCB aim to end their T20 tournament trophy drought. Kohli needs just 212 more runs to become the first player to complete 7,000 runs in the IPL.
Virat Kohli’s 61 from 44 balls go for naught as LSG win last ball thriller over a wicket
A clinical batting performance from Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran helped the Lucknow Super Giants beat Royal Challengers Bangalore. While Stoinis scored 65 off 30 balls, Pooran hit 62 off just 19 balls. That came despite a major collapse. Ayush Badoni also contributed 30 of 24 balls.
For the RCB, Mohammed Siraj was shaping up to be the bowlers’ pick, returning with figures of 3/22. Wayne Parnell and Harshal Patel also bagged three and two wickets respectively. Karn Sharma also shared a lone wicket.
Previously, RCB posted 212/2 in their allotted 20 overs, courtesy of Faf du Plessis (79 from 46 balls) and Glenn Maxwell’s masterclass (59 from 29 deliveries). Meanwhile, Mark Wood and Amit Mishra each took one wicket for LSG.
RCB will next be seen in action against Delhi Capitals (DC) at home on Saturday 15 April.
