Phil Collins’ health: His spinal cord injuries, explained

Phil Collins’ health has become a matter of concern for fans in recent years.

This was due to a spinal cord injury he suffered in 2007, which limited his mobility.

Based on his recent appearance, Collins is still able to walk with the assistance of a cane. But sources close to the rock legend say he is no longer able to play drums.

Phil Collins dodges questions about his health

Collins himself has remained silent on the subject of his condition.

When concerns are raised, he dismisses them jokingly. For example, in 2022, Collins appeared with his Genesis bandmates in a concert that was described as the band’s “last show ever”.

Although he never stepped behind a drum kit, he sang, played the tambourine, and joked that he would now be forced to “get a real job”.

But many of the people who know Collins best are more serious when discussing matters related to her health.
