Sad news from the world of television, Paul Till has passed away at the age of 35.
Teal had a recurring role in the popular teen drama one Tree HillWhich ran from 2003 to 2012 on The WB and The CW.
The news of his passing came to us courtesy of his fiancee Emilia Torello.
“The most thoughtful, inspiring, motivated, self-disciplined, loving man passed away,” Torello wrote on Instagram.
“Paul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be husband, my rock and my future. You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies and my heart with love. You were captured very quickly, in a battle that you fought bravely without failure,” he added,
“While a part of me died with you, I promise that I will fight to find happiness in life as much as you fought to live every day.
“The world is lucky that I got even a moment with Paul Till, and I’m the luckiest person in it, because I got to call you mine. I will love you forever.”
What was the cause of death of Paul Teal?
The cause of Teal’s demise is unclear.
But based on the wording in Torello’s announcement, it seems as if he was battling some type of long-term illness, possibly cancer.

On Instagram, two of Teal’s most famous OTH colleagues shared their grief.
“Incredibly sad to hear about the passing of Paul Teal. We’re just starting to watch her OTH episodes on Drama Queens [podcast] And she is so talented,” Sophia Bush wrote.
“My heart is heavy. Paul Teal was a man who lit up a room without even trying. Her bright smile, infectious laugh and kind heart inspired you to want to be close to her,” Bethany Joy Lenz said in her tribute.
“He was shy and funny and very comfortable on stage. Very good. Like his second skin. You won’t be able to take your eyes off him. Later, I was excited to direct an episode one Tree Hill Where I get to cast a new recurring character, Josh – the sleazy movie star,” she continued.
“With his self-effacing sense of humor and willingness to immerse himself completely in any character, Paul was perfect for the role. He was a pleasure to work with in any environment and was very generous.”
“We kept in touch every now and then. I wish it were more. I wish I had called all those times when I had to call but I got distracted. Life is short. I keep thinking about this this week. Life is short.”
