As previously reported, there is a significant age difference between Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy.
18 years, to be precise.
But while the 43-year-old former Bachelorette beau is significantly older than his 25-year-old spouse, Viall is here to deliver the following message:
There is no difference in the loyalty of this couple towards each other.
“I’m aware of a lot of the rumors about me. And I know I’m unaware of more than 90% of the rumors because I don’t read it,” Viall said during his June 25 appearance on The LadyGang podcast.
Last year, when Joey was engaged to Viall, he was accused of infidelity.
The speculation grew so intense that it even reached Viall, though he attempted to stay away from such online conversations.
“I don’t go any further [social media]. I disconnect,” Viall continued.
“I’m really good at protecting my mental health and my family’s mental health. And when I say that, I mean I love working. I’ve always loved working. I’ve enjoyed working. The more shows I make, the less I want to be famous.”
Viall hosts a very successful podcast, and is sometimes joined by Joey, who married the reality star in April.
When Keltie Knight revealed that bringing Joey on as co-host has opened up even more opportunities for the pair More Following the investigation, Viall said his wife “has gotten a lot better” at dealing with the negativity.
He argued that getting involved in rumours only makes things worse.
“How many people have promoted nonsense rumours about themselves, and then later denied them?” he said.
“It blows my mind. … Listen, I’m human. As much as I say to stay offline, I have my moments of weakness. I’ve got to get better and better at it … you just move on.”
Earlier this week, actor Harry Jowsey told Viall he should “focus on being cheated on by his wife.”
That probably explains comments Joey made on the June 26 episode of The Viall Files , in which he said men always get the “benefit of the doubt,” both on reality television and in real life.
“Women never get the benefit of the doubt,” he said.
“And for women it’s like, ‘Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame,’ but, for men it’s like, ‘They’re men,’ like, ‘Men will be men.'”
Viall and Joey got engaged in January 2023 after dating for over two years. Their daughter, River Rose, was born in February, and they were married two months later.
