Mykelti Brown just spilled some very scandalous tea.
Kody and Christine Brown’s daughter spoke out more than usual about her quasi-stepmom Robyn on Patreon over the weekend and addressed one particular issue that has caused tension in this formerly polygamous family.
This hurts Robin very badly, too.
According to Mykelti, as you can see in his full message below, things have “changed” between Robin and several relatives due to the “events” that took place at Garrison Brown’s funeral this spring.
The 25-year-old was buried in March, nearly three weeks after he committed suicide by shooting himself.
Kody and Janelle’s son, Garrison, had admitted to having suicidal tendencies in a text message the night before, causing serious concern for his mother.
He asked son Gabe to check on his brother… and when Gabe did so, he found Garrison’s dead body.
It’s horrible and scary and just all around very sad.
“We will not talk about those incidents, [but] You’re not completely wrong,” Mykelti cryptically said on social media when the topic turned to Robin and her relationship with her father’s only legal spouse.
Brown did not elaborate on this. We are not going to speculate either.
But it’s now pretty clear that no one besides Kody talks to Robyn very much. If at all.
In her recent interview, Meri Brown said that she has no real contact with her ex-husband or his wife, and she is not interested in changing that in the near future.
For her part, Robin has said she is deeply saddened that the majority of her family is dead. Those were the words she used in an interview with People magazine a few months ago.
“Kody and I, we’re going through this and figuring it out, but it does feel like there was a death,” Robyn told the outlet after Christine, Janelle, and Meri walked away from Kody.
She added that she and her husband “are both going through different deaths” and that the breakup of the family “messes with my identity”, continuing at the time:
“This is not the future I wanted. I want that home to be with us in the rocking chair on the porch, with our grandchildren and our children around us. You know, the grandparent’s farm.”
“that’s what I want.
“I don’t know how to let this go.”
Garrison committed suicide on March 4.
Last week, his mother paid tribute to her son on the sixth month anniversary of the tragedy.
“6 months ago today you were gone,” the Sister Wives cast member wrote.
“You appear in my photo memory almost every day. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like you’re gone. And then I remember I won’t get any calls or texts from you and it all comes rushing back.”
“I know you fought hard but in the end you couldn’t hold out.
“I love you so much and I’ll see you again when my journey is over.”
