Miranda Lambert guest-starred on EXO’s show Dumb Blonde Podcast on Monday, August 19.
During that interview, Lambert revealed something she said to her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
Miranda Lambert explained, “I told him, ‘I’m a ninja for you, and I’ll fight anything with you.'”
“And I think that’s so important,” Miranda Lambert said then.
“And I think, you know, going through other relationships, you learn from those things,” he said, self-reflecting.
“And you learn about communication,” Miranda Lambert added. “And what you did and didn’t do.”

“And so, I think I came into this marriage with a very strong sense of what I wanted,” Miranda Lambert explained.
She then added: “And what I want to be to someone and what kind of partner I want to be.”
The country singer said part of it was communicating instead of “holding grudges.”

Miranda Lambert emphasized this point, saying, “You can’t distance yourself emotionally and physically.”
He said: “This won’t work.” TruthA strong emotional bond can persist despite physical distance. Without that bond, people will drift apart.

Fans are expecting to see Miranda Lambert fighting for her marriage as her husband’s scandal comes to light.
In June 2024, her 32-year-old husband Brendan was spotted flirting with a group of women at Nashville’s Casa Rosa bar. His perhaps too friendly antics went viral on TikTok.
Yes, this is the same bar owned by Miranda Lambert herself. If you’re going to cheat on your wife (which no one has ever suggested she has), this is not the place to do it.
Some of the women who appeared in these videos came forward on social media to say that Brendan did nothing wrong. No one made advances or tried to make advances. And apparently actions like face-touching were just bad manners in a noisy environment.
Maybe so. But this was not a good thing for a married man.
Especially not for a man whose wife’s most famous song is (arguably) “Before He Cheats.” You really want to be on your best behavior. Don’t embarrass your famous wife.
