Minecraft Bedrock player shares one useful tip for mining blocks faster

Minecraft comes in two different versions: Bedrock and Java Edition. While on a superficial level both editions are identical, the finer details show the difference between the two. Bedrock Edition is known to have many bugs and bugs. Sometimes these bugs can be annoying and ruin the experience of exploring the blocky world.

However, sometimes talented players can use these shortcomings as a new game mechanic. A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/Outrageous_Pace4141 shared a short video clip on the game’s subreddit.

The title of the post said that players can mine faster when standing at maximum block distance. The game was recorded in Bedrock Edition, meaning this could very well be a bug.

Reacting to the video, user u/Janusofborg said that this is a Bedrock thing. Therefore, there is no point in Java Edition players trying it out. Another user named u/ClearMind responded to the comment by saying that they wish there was a subreddit just for Bedrock players so they could post things like this there.

User u/mraltuser said that Steve acts as a lever, since the further he gets from the object, the stronger he becomes at mining. However, another user named u/Joezev98 asked why people are upvoting this comment, since it’s literally the opposite of how a lever works. The user then explained how the lever and fulcrum work.

Use Minecraft bugs as a feature

Minecraft players are known for their creativity, not only when it comes to building structures but also when it comes to mastering the game’s mechanics for an added advantage. From simple farming tricks to advanced Redstone gadgets, players have found and exploited various bugs and used them to their advantage.

A popular trick is using water and lava to create infinite cobblestone generators. Players also exploit mechanics such as mob farming by designing dark rooms or using spawn blocks to collect resources such as bones, thread, or gunpowder. Similarly, villagers are exploited to trade valuable items, using work blocks to obtain the best trade items.

Bedrock Edition is famous (or rather famous in this case) for having many bugs. For example, duplication glitches can allow players to replicate valuable items such as diamonds or enchanted equipment.

One well-known exploit involves using specific pistons and block locations to duplicate mats, a trick that is both cheap and effective. Another feature unique to Bedrock is the casual mechanics, where players can creatively use inventory settings to manage resources during combat or building.
