Mary Brown is widely available in the market.
But that doesn’t mean the Sister Wives star likes what’s available so far.
As readers probably know, Meri and Kody Brown ended their marriage almost two years ago today; Not that they had a very healthy relationship even before that official announcement.
Fast forward to the present day and Mary is still looking for her special someone.
“Dating has been interesting. “I’m dating, nothing specific at the moment,” Brown told Parade this week.
“It’s a little weird… I live in a small town with a very, very, very, very small dating pool. So I need to spread my wings. go to vegas or salt lake [City],
“I would love to meet someone like that in public, but I don’t know how to do it. It’s really hard,” she continues. “I hear people say men don’t talk to women anymore. They don’t know, you know?
“Then the woman will have to take the initiative. And I’m like, I don’t want that. If I have to take the initiative and be [the] Boss man, I’m not interested. The boy needs to do this.
My Did Early last year I found a boyfriend, but the relationship didn’t last long.
Looking ahead, she is hoping to “find someone who is independent.” Someone who can treat me with kindness and honesty and respect, who can complement my energy. Maybe longer. I want a tall boy. And also who my dog loves. And he loves my dog.”
TLC viewers witnessed Meri and Kody’s emotional goodbye in season 19.
The exes are not on bad terms, but they don’t talk much these days.
For those who might want to ask Meri Brown out one day? He described his ideal first date for the parade this way:
“Fun and laughter and easy conversation. Dinner will be great, [a] The film will be great. It would be great to walk in the park. I am open to options.
“I feel like sitting down and talking limits what you can do.
“When you’re out and doing something, whether it’s a walk in the park or skiing, I don’t know, whatever, you can have a little more conversation.”
Brown has made it clear that she is not getting back with Kody, and also that the past few years have taught her some necessary life lessons.
“I’m learning about myself while doing it, and also what I do and don’t want, [and] what will i do [and] I will not tolerate,” the reality star concluded the parade.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10/9c on TLC — and can be streamed on Max, Discovery+, and more.
