These days, Meri Brown is talking openly about the condition of various members of her family.
For example, just a few days ago, the reality star provided an update about her transgender daughter, Lyonne.
Previously, the Sister Wives cast member made it clear that she would never get back with ex-husband Kody Brown.
Now, meanwhile?
Meri is here to talk about her relationship with my ex-sister wife Robyn Brown. or his Shortage Of one, really.
“Robyn and I don’t really talk much,” Meri told People Magazine in a new interview, referencing her split from Kody last year and adding:
“I know it was really hard for her when I left, and I suspect she’s probably trying to figure out her life is completely different than she thought it was going to be.”
This is accurate.
Some time ago – after Meri, Christine and Janelle left – Robyn wondered if she was a fool to stay attached to Kody’s romantic side.
Meri also told People this week, “I’m not sure that much has changed in their day-to-day life because it’s been the same situation for the last few years.”
“But knowing that she’s completely monogamous, I’m sure she’s trying to move in that direction herself. But he and I don’t have much interaction with each other.
Brown has been on his journey for a long time.
She said in the feature that these days she “needs to focus on me and my future and who is going to be the cheerleader for what I’m trying to do with my life.”
As far as Mary’s relationships with her other former sister wives?
She and Christine shared a sweet moment at Gwendlyn Brown’s bridal shower, embracing and reassuring Meri that life will be “better on the other side” after her split from Kody.
Elsewhere, Meri is talking with Janelle about the Brown family’s plans for the Coyote Pass property, having warned her to “protect” herself amid the ongoing sale drama of that land.
“There’s always a chance” Mary thinks she can save things between herself and these women.
“It really just depends on whether both parties are involved,” he explained to People, citing Christine exclusively and stating:
“Right now, I don’t think he’s in that place. I don’t think she wants that. I am completely happy with where I am in my life and I wish them all the best. Our paths don’t exactly align. We are not living parallel lives right now. But they can overcome. I’ll never know.”
On the December 15 episode of Sister Wives, Meri opened up about her ongoing frustrations with Robin, who isn’t close to her (at all) to one of Cody’s former teammates.
“The fact that Robin didn’t come to my mom’s funeral and didn’t support me in that way at that time was very sad to me,” Meri said in the confessional.
“They were following the COVID rules and you know, I felt very bad about it and I understood it, but Cody stopped doing that too. This whole thing was really confusing to me that she wouldn’t go because Janelle went.
