As you’ve probably heard by now, all the joy and light was drained from the world over the weekend, and there’s no reason to get out of bed today.
No, we are not disappointed Philadelphia Eagles fans.
We are talking about the fact that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly broke up.
Yes, we know these are sad times for all you Megyn-Kelly stans out there, but look on the bright side — this breakup is even more spectacularly messy than the relationship itself!
And thus, Megan is the one who is getting all the opening shots.
To be clear, there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, but Megan’s recent Instagram activity makes it clear that she and MGK have gone their separate ways.
First, Megan removed all photos of Kelly from her page.
He then stopped following his (former?) fiancee.
To make the message even clearer, at the time, Fox only followed three people: Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet, and Eminem.
Kelly once feuded with Eminem, and the general consensus is that the hip hop icon tormented his younger rival so effectively that MGK was basically forced to stop rapping.
So Megan has been publicly following M with a huge middle finger to her ex.
It’s unclear whether or not there’s any significance to the other follow-up, but it’s worth noting that Harry cleaned up at the Grammys last week, while MGK failed to take home any awards.
He was so disheartened by the snub that Megan felt the need to publicly console him:
He wrote after the ceremony, “Congratulations on being in the very small percentage of artists to receive a Grammy nomination.”
“You handled this process with a grace and maturity that I haven’t seen from you before and I am so proud of you,” Megan continued.
“Watching you walk in humility and gratitude, watching you grow into yourself and become a better person is a far more satisfying experience than watching you accept an award.”
As for Chalamet, well — people are already linking Megan with Pete Davidson, but she might have someone else in mind for her rebound buddy.
Whatever the case, Megan has now completely deleted her Instagram account, which is also being taken as a sign that she and Kelly are through.
Hopefully she’ll be active again soon, if only for the purpose of continuing to throw shade at her ex.
She’s got to have some other rivals she can get her revenge on—can follow, right?
Hey, maybe Megan has taken this feud offline and is doing more than just chasing down MGK’s enemies, if you know what we mean.
