Fans on social media are convinced that Matty’s next album with The 1975 will include a track called “God Has Entered My Body”, which takes aim at Taylor.
According to a new report from a UK tabloid SunThe song would include such sarcastic lyrics as “Keep your head up, princess, your crown is falling.”
Taylor has, on several occasions, used her songs to express her feelings about her high-profile romances and breakups.
But this might be the first time that a former teammate will clap back.
On Reddit, Swifties are discussing a scandalous rumor about Matty’s new music.
And in a move that surprised many, Healy’s verified account commented (via Page Six) on a recent post about the alleged song, “Huge if true.” Is he just trolling, or is this his way of confirming the news? only time will tell!
Open to interpretation?
The rest of the song (if it exists) is still secret, and that one line could refer to a lot of things.
But we know how such a song will be interpreted by the public. And given his sordid history of pushing the envelope, Matty wouldn’t mind the reaction.
