Sad news from the entertainment industry this week:

Lizzie Musi, the lead star of the reality show Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings, has died after suffering from Stage 4 breast cancer.

She was 33 years old.

The tragic incident was confirmed on Facebook late Thursday evening when her father, Pat Musi, wrote the following:

“Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her home, Lizzie was called to Heaven tonight at 11:25pm.

“Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support during his battle. At this time, the family needs time to heal from their grief.” [sic] And arrange it peacefully.

“We will provide updates as soon as we have information to share.”

Lizzie made her small screen debut in No Prep Kings, a Discovery Channel spin-off of the 2018 drag racing series Street Outlaws.

It chronicles the history of road racers who competed in challenging terrain that had never been raced on before.

Musi first shared the news of her cancer diagnosis in April 2023 on Instagram.

“Hey guys, due to unexpected life changes I haven’t had much time to post,” she wrote then. “A few days ago I was diagnosed with triple negative stage 4 breast cancer which has spread through my lymph nodes to my liver.

“I have a tough journey ahead of me. I appreciate everyone’s messages and calls.”

Two months later, Lizzie revealed she had shaved her head due to “excessive hair loss”.

She shared a picture of her new look at the time, saying, “Well, this is the new me… Some days are hard to look in the mirror, but there are also days when I feel stronger than ever.”

Lizzie attended the event alongside her father, who, according to his website, is an eight-time PDRA Pro Street World Champion.

The death of the reality TV star comes after Street Outlaws: Fastest in America driver Ryan Fellows died in a car crash in August 2022 at the age of 41.

Street Outlaws star Christopher “Kentucky” Ellis Too He died in September 2020 at his home in Oklahoma City at the age of 39.
