Lauryn Hill is hitting the road.
In the best sense of that phrase.
First up, the veteran singer will be among the many artists performing at the 2024 BET Awards this Sunday, June 30 — as she’ll be joined by her son YG Marley, Ice Spice, and Tyla to deliver their talented performance.
From there, Hill will rejoin the Fugees, as she announced this week, and hit the road for a series of tours around the world.
As you may recall, Hill had to cancel a number of concerts last November due to a strained larynx, stating at the time that the situation was “serious” and that it wasn’t “safe or sustainable” to continue.
But now, it looks like the artist has made a full recovery.
In celebration of her iconic 1998 solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” as well as the group’s groundbreaking album “The Score” from two years ago, Hill and the Fugees will kick off their upcoming tour in Florida on August 9 and then head to Europe on October 12.
Tickets for the home show will be available for a Citibank-sponsored pre-sale beginning Tuesday, June 25.
Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week before the general sale begins on Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
