We don’t say this often, because that person is most often an ignorant narcissist, but let’s give Kody Brown a little credit:
He has always come across as very supportive of daughter Gwendlyn.
On this week’s episode of Sister Wives, Kody and ex-wife Christine Brown come together to celebrate their 23-year-old daughter’s engagement to Beatriz Quiroz.
Gwendlyn confirmed her intention to marry Beatriz in late 2022.
“I have no problem when Gwen is married to a woman,” Kody said in a confessional on this installment, which we applaud Brown for saying.
But then the father of 17 said:
“Gwen came out but she wasn’t as open about it. She told how she was attracted to both genders.
well yes.
In 2020, Brown came out as a radical bisexual, meaning she is attracted to both genders and one of those genders is female and she fell in love with a woman and is now married to a woman. It’s not all that complicated, Cody.
In fact, on a 2022 episode of Sister Wives, Gwendlyn explained her stance on her sexuality this way:
“I’m not only attracted to women. I’m also attracted to men and people who fall on the other gender spectrum.”
While Cody generally seems to be in favor of any lifestyle like this, he claimed in the November 10 installment that he’s just listening to The Big Guy Upstairs when it comes to his stance on the LGBTQ+ community:
“I had one experience in particular where God said, as God, God said, ‘I judge,’ and He said to me, ‘And you love.’ If I had my way, I would live like this.
Kody Brown apparently talks to God a lot.
As for Christine, who brought her husband David Woolley to the engagement party that aired this week, she admitted the family “already knew” when Gwendlyn came out. She was not shocked at all.
“Gwendlyn and Bea are now engaged. “Bea is so nice, really, really, really sweet,” Christine said in her statement.
“But to see Gwendlyn’s eyes light up around B and Gwendlyn is so comfortable around her. They look very cute together. So sweet, it’s always such a relief when your child finds his or her own personality.”
It was at this gathering that Kody and Robyn Brown came face to face with Christine and David for the first time, leading to an awkward situation over tattoos.
“I don’t have a problem with tattoos,” Cody told the camera at one point. “But I have tattoo phobia.”
Christine disagreed, saying on air: “Cody hated tattoos. He despised her physically.”
So, of course, Brown and Woolley — who tied the knot in October 2023, three months after Gwendlyn and Beatriz tied the knot — decided to get matching tattoos at the party, celebrating the new beginning after less than two months of dating. Got the symbol tattooed on himself. ,
We like pettiness.
