Kevin Costner celebrated his birthday on Saturday, January 18. The critically acclaimed actor is now 70 years old.
To celebrate his birthday, he shared a throwback picture on his Instagram story. This blast from the past is from the set of the 1992 film, bodyguard,
Memorably, Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston starred in the iconic romantic thriller. Costner captioned, “This photo reminds me how lucky I am to get another birthday.” “When we lost Whitney we lost such a light.”
Costner’s Story post was actually re-sharing an existing photo that was shared by the late Whitney Houston’s Instagram account. Manages his property account.

Kevin Costner has paid tribute to Whitney Houston several times
In 2012, Houston tragically passed away. She was only 48 years old.
Just last year, Costner sat in for an episode in June Armchair Expert podcast.
Costner said at the time, “I loved her – it’s not that big a secret – so I knew she had to be the one.”
Apparently, Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston shared a special bond while shooting the project. And Costner made several promises to Houston – including that the film would do well in theaters even if it didn’t make it in test screenings.
Another topic was how Houston should not have had any entourage with her on set. yellowstone Star stepped forward.
“I will always keep my promise to her,” he recalled. ,[I said]’If there’s someone important to you I’ll take care of you’ – turned out to be Robin Crawford – I said, ‘Let’s put Robin with you.’ And that’s how we started.”

“I don’t know what it was,” Costner reflected. “But we had a moment, and I realized that the world had a better idea of who we were.”
He continued: “So I basically embraced it. I was his imaginary bodyguard.
