Is Kanye coming after Kim and her business?
Even though Yeezy has been controversial for many reasons lately, Kanye West’s fashion brand is moving forward.
Now, they’re planning their next Yeezy venture.
Part of this is taking revenge on one’s perceived enemies. And part of that is to go into direct competition against Kim Kardashian.
Is Kanye West Going After Kim Kardashian With His Women’s Collection?
On his Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 21, Kanye West threatened, “Next time Yzy women are coming.”
Along with a photo of a black bodysuit — like the one we’ve seen on Bianca Sensori — Yeh wrote: “Scaling innovation.”
He then added: “Anyone wearing Yeezys in clothes that don’t work should be scared, very scared.”
Using seemingly random patterns of capitalization and disinterest in punctuation, Kanye West began ranting about “corporations” that were “overcharging the community while ignoring my vision and direction.”
When talking about people who want money from him and want him to partner with Adidas, he declared: “I have a John Wick vendetta against every fashion company.”
Adidas ended its collaboration with Kanye in 2022. He was making many anti-Semitic comments at the time and praising Adolf Hitler. john wick is an entertaining film series that unfolds as a violent revenge fantasy with interesting world building.
Is Kanye West Introducing His Own Version of Skims Shapewear?
In recent years, Bianca Sensori has been wearing bodysuits that were reportedly Kanye’s designs.
We all remember how, Kim and many of her siblings wore the Yeezy fashion brand’s signature brown and gray neutral colors for years.
While critics argued that these looks were “dull” or “disgusting”, Kardashian’s influence helped make Yeezy a well-known fashion brand.
Some people on social media believe that Kanye may have been behind Kim’s iconic Skims shapewear brand.
(He’s not exactly famous for his humility or ability to filter himself, so it’s unclear why or how he would keep it a secret if it were true.)
Either way, their new line of Yeezy women’s apparel could bring them into direct competition with Kim Kardashian’s clothing line. And, given his “revenge” mentality, perhaps that was part of the motivation.
Will this new line be successful?
Of course, major studios have been reluctant to work with Kanye when it comes to his music lately.
It’s possible that potential customers would prefer to buy clothes from someone who is a little less in tune with white supremacists.
That said, it may be too much to expect a minimum of ethical discretion from your average consumer. Some people may also buy Yeezy products out of hostility and contempt for the suggestion that it is wrong to do so. People make choices every day.
