Josh Duggar: Supreme Court dismisses lawsuit! Will have to stay behind bars for a long time!

It appears Josh Duggar will eventually have to accept his fate:

The disgraced reality television star isn’t going anywhere for a very long time.

On Monday morning, the Supreme Court denied Duggar’s request to hear whether his conviction for downloading child sexual abuse images should be overturned.

Yes, as previously reported, Duggar and his legal team actually went all the way to the Supreme Court to have his conviction overturned.

As most celebrity gossip followers are well aware at this point, Duggar was sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison in 2021 after being found guilty by a jury in Arkansas on one count of receiving child pornography.

He downloaded the above photos and videos onto a computer at a used car dealership he owned, but has since argued that he is innocent — and apart An employee of this very business should have been held guilty.

This was stated by attorney Justin Gelfand through a petition to the Supreme Court, in which he claimed that the original trial judge had excluded “relevant evidence of an alternate perpetrator” after preventing the defense from telling jurors about a previous sex offense involving a former employee at Duggar’s dealership.

Because of this ruling, Duggar’s attorneys did not call the former employee to testify.

Duggar, of course, rose to fame as the eldest child of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar when she starred on the TLC program 19 Kids and Counting.

The series was canceled years before Duggar’s conviction … in 2015 when he also admitted to committing incest and molesting his sisters when they were teenagers.

That guy has some serious problems.

Duggar also lost an appeal nearly a year ago in which he attempted to get a different court to hear his legal complaints, pleadings and whining.

For this appeal to the Supreme Court, Gelfand wrote:

“Mr. Duggar presented concrete facts before the district court that made it clear that the possibility of the crime being committed by someone else was far from hypothetical.

“Courts should trust the jury to decide what is pure speculation and what is not. But in this case, it was the judge, not the jury, who made the final decision.”

Previously, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the trial judge in refusing to throw out Duggar’s conviction, writing in August 2023 that she “struck a balance” by allowing the former employee to testify … as long as the previous conviction was not mentioned to jurors.

Duggar is reported to have been visited by her parents in prison on a few occasions, although we believe none of her siblings have visited her yet.

And what about his wife, Anna?

The mother of Josh’s seven kids and the woman he cheated on with some random guy he met on a website for people looking for boyfriends and girlfriends?

He is married to Duggar.
