Jon Stewart is finally leaving ‘The Daily Show’: Rumors and facts


Is Jon Stewart leaving? The Daily Show After her 23rd Emmy win?

It’s no wonder this question was on reporters’ minds after last night’s ceremony.

Stewart and The Daily Show made history with his win, but viewers had long expected the beloved comedian to step down once again after the November elections.

So, even though his return to the hosting chair has been extremely successful, there are fears that it won’t last long.

Is Jon Stewart leaving the Daily Show?

In January, we learned that Stewart was coming back The Daily Show Ahead of election season – but with a twist.

The 61-year-old comedian will host the show only on Mondays, and the rest of the week the show will be open to other TDS personalities.

Now that Stewart has successfully contested the election and picked up another Emmy, does he still plan on calling it quits after the election?

On Sunday, Diversity Stewart was asked directly if he planned to leave the show for a second time.

Stewart played it safe

“Well, I guess this election is never going to end. So why would I go? How can I go? I’m not going to be allowed to go until the election unless we all toughen up in some way,” he responded.

“We’re waiting for it to be awesome.”

Yes, he avoided giving a definitive answer, but it seems like Stewart is having so much fun now that he can’t stop.

“I love the family of collaborators that we’ve built over the years,” he said, speaking backstage at the Emmys.

“And you know, the best part about tonight is coming here and seeing everybody come back together.”

Stewart’s Daily Show His colleagues also joined him on stage when the show won the award for best talk series.

And he took the opportunity to introduce showrunner Jane Flanz to the audience.

Flanz has been associated with the show since 1998. While she hasn’t commented on the future of TDS, it seems everyone involved is keen to stick with the current arrangement.

Diversity According to the report, Comedy Central and Paramount Global are happy with this “hybrid approach,” which will likely continue until 2025.

This is a good thing for several reasons.

After all, no matter what happens in November, there are some strange times ahead. And we’d love to hear Jon Stewart’s unique commentary.
