Jon and Kate Plus 8 is coming back with ‘new’ episodes for some reason. And this could just be the beginning.
This is great news for Kate, as she is struggling financially. But it’s very bad news for basic decency.

Reality TV viewers have seen and learned a lot since then Jon and Kate Plus 8 reared its ugly head for the first time. And they’re expressing their disgust that this shameful chapter in television history is making a comeback.
‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’ is coming back to TLC
in 2007, Jon and Kate Plus 8 premiered on TLC. Jon and Kate Plus 8 The couple, their twins, and their six children were followed. Title Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced in 2009. Two years later, TLC canceled the series.

This week, the TLC Instagram account posted a video showing early footage Jon and Kate Plus 8,
“Who’s ready for a trip down memory lane?” TLC’s caption blared out followers.
Then, the caption announced: “The #JonandKatePlus8 Season 1 marathon starts tonight at 8/7c!”
As one can easily imagine, the comments were filled with justified horror and outrage that TLC was once again bringing Kate Gosselin to the table.
People don’t want to watch old or new episodes of ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’
Comment after comment showed TLC followers expressing their disgust as well.
One Instagram user wrote of Kate Gosselin, “She should just be banned.” Another called her the “OG Karen,” as Kate’s behavior, vibe, and iconic haircut have become synonymous with a “can I speak to the manager” attitude ever since the name “Karen” began to describe such a person.
“I’ve never watched a single episode of this before. It always smelled like child abuse to me,” another commenter chimed in. “You can correct me if I’m wrong.” (This person isn’t wrong; Jon Gosselin himself has said how he wishes he could have protected his kids from this.)
One commenter asked, “Since you’re shining a light on abusers, why don’t you revisit the Duggars?” Clearly, the comment was sarcastic.
Unfortunately, many are concerned that TLC might be seriously considering this. Jon and Kate Plus 8 The marathon could be a test to get Jim Bob Duggar and his gang back on TV.
Colleen has revealed how Kate made him the target of her infamous temper. And in addition to the infamous abuses of their fundamentalist cult, the Duggars hid Josh Duggar’s sex crimes for years — until he finally confessed to a crime that was too hard for Jim Bob to keep quiet about.
Why would anyone bring the Gosselins back to television like this?
Jon Gosselin was a failure and a disappointment. Kate Gosselin was even worse.
However, it seems that TLC doesn’t care about the ethical behavior of its reality stars, as long as it doesn’t affect the end result. No Duggars, no abuse 90 day fiance The stars, and not Kate.

Let’s all hope the viewership doesn’t encourage Kate Gosselin to be back on anyone’s TV.
