Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary with another honeymoon!
Although Jill and Derick have grown apart from some of her toxic relatives, the Dillard marriage is still going strong.
Obviously, the rules of the infamous cult make it clear that marriages are eternal commitments. But Jill and Derick are also bound to each other by going through this process Very Together.
Although the memories of the loss are sad, they are celebrating this milestone in their marriage with a second honeymoon.
It’s Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s 10th anniversary!
On Friday, June 21, Derick Dillard shared a caption on his Instagram page — which was a tribute to his wife and their marriage.
“Happy 10th wedding anniversary to the love of my life @jillmdillard,” he began his caption.
“The last decade has been very up and down. And we’ve been through a lot,” Derrick admitted.
“But,” Derrick added, “there’s nobody I’d rather have with me.”
On top of all of Josh’s public scandals, his lawsuit, his separation from his evil father, and more, Jill and Derick are grieving the birth of a stillborn baby.
Addressing Jill, he said: “You are not only my wife, but also my best friend.”
Derick reveals he and Jill are enjoying a second honeymoon
“It’s nice to get away for a few days,” Derrick said.
He wrote that he and Jill “left for the vacation I’ve been most looking forward to since our honeymoon.”
Derick Dillard then confirmed this in his caption, writing: “I will always love you.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9 refers to a passage in the Bible, the holy book of Christianity, which reads: “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.” An alternate translation reads: “Because they can help one another to succeed.”
Meanwhile, Proverbs 31 is a longer passage. While parts of that passage contain misogynistic warnings, Derrick is likely referring to how a “good wife” is “far more precious” than gems. Some translations specify than ruby,
“Aww,” Jill wrote on Instagram with a few emotional emojis. “Thank you for being my best friend for the rest of my life!”
She also shared Derick’s post on her Instagram Story, writing: “I will always love you.”
While her post was relatively short and even briefer, we’re sure celebrating in person is much more important. Jill and Derick are clearly enjoying their 10th anniversary.
