After 10 years and three kids together, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have called it quits.
Jessica confirmed the news in a statement released last night.
The separation doesn’t come as a complete shock, as Jessica and Eric had been showing signs of tension for several months.
“Eric and I are living separately in the wake of a painful situation in our marriage,” Jessica told People magazine.
“Our children come first, and we are focused on what is best for them. “We are grateful for the love and support we have been receiving, and appreciate the privacy right now as we work through this as a family,” she continued.
It has been rumored for some time that Jessica and Eric are on the verge of divorce.
In the winter of 2024, Jessica was seen without her wedding ring, but reports said she was determined to fix her wedding. There were indications that she and her husband Eric Johnson were having problems.
