It’s officially over between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
According to documents obtained by various celebrity gossip and entertainment news outlets, the famous ex-husbands formally ended their marriage on Monday, January 6.
In doing so, both parties “agreed to divide all assets and liabilities” to avoid further litigation and expense.
If you recall, Lopez started the process in August when she filed to divorce Affleck after being husband and wife for two years.
Considering the combined wealth between these stars, it was a relatively clean, simple and amicable agreement.
For example, Lopez keeps all of her personal belongings and earnings from the date of their separation (listed as April 26, 2024), as well as half of the former couple’s shared bank accounts.
Affleck gets the same thing.
The actor also owns a role and a stake in the production company Artists Equity, which he founded with best friend Matt Damon in November 2022.
According to the agreement, Affleck and Lopez will split their $60 million mansion in Beverly Hills that is now on the market.
In the divorce, Lopez retained her clothing, jewelry and “miscellaneous personal effects in her possession, custody or control” and all property owned “individually or by entities.” [Lopez] Is the sole proprietor, member or shareholder.”

Lopez-Affleck divorce rumors were swirling for weeks before the singer/actress finally finalized it last summer.
Of course, celebrities first dated back in the early 2000s – and even got engaged… only to break up… to date and marry other people.. .Getting back together in May 2021… and then exchanging vows in April 2022.
Now finally it seems as if their romantic journey has ended. We guess, at least.
Nearly three months ago, Lopez broke her silence on the end of the romance — though she didn’t mention Affleck by name or go into any specific details.
“If you want something that’s more perfect, you have to be perfect,” Lopez told comedian Nikki Glaser in October.
“You have to be good to yourself. I thought I learned it, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, ‘I need to go out and be alone. I want to prove to myself that I can do this…
“With everything that’s happened in my life and in my relationships and even in my career, it’s just like giving myself a little rest and love.
“We’ve been through a lot of things that no one knows about, and you’ve persevered and you’ve refused to give up and let it get to you.”
Lopez was first married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998; Chris Judd from 2001 to 2003; and Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014. She has twins, Max and Emme.
Affleck, on the other hand, was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018.
They raise their three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
