Jazz Jennings: Look at me! I lost 100 pounds!

For Jazz Jennings, it’s about bringing out an older… version of herself.

And with a new…and improved mental and physical attitude towards life.

Earlier this week, the TLC personality — who has anchored the reality series I Am Jazz since it premiered in 2015 — revealed that she lost 100 pounds in the past two years,

The transgender star also shared a video of her before and after appearance to help document her journey for fans and followers.

Jennings wrote on Instagram on August 26, “I’m so proud of my progress. And I want to thank my family, friends, and everyone who helped me get there!”

Explaining her mindset about her new lifestyle, the 23-year-old told People:

“Good health isn’t a certificate you show, it’s a constant effort! I still have room for improvement, but I’m more motivated and excited than I have been in years. Let’s keep it going!”

Along with the caption, Jennings also showed off his workout regimen, as you can see above, he also posted a comparison video of himself running and doing wall-sits today compared to two years ago.

Amazing, isn’t it?!?

“I’m proud of my progress toward better health, but I’m still running toward more goals!” Jennings wrote in the video.

In January, Jennings — who has undergone gender confirmation surgery three times — said she had lost 70 pounds.

“I feel happier and healthier than I have in years,” she wrote at the time, also sharing a photo of herself at the beach and adding:

“I still have a long way to go, but I’m proud that I’m finally taking the necessary steps toward bettering my mind, body, and spirit.”

In June 2021, Jennings confessed that she was struggling with binge eating.

“As many of you may have noticed, I have gained quite a bit of weight over the last few years,” she said on Instagram.

“My overeating habits, along with some of the medications I was taking that increased my appetite, caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in less than 2 years.”

However, that was then.

Now?

Jennings opened up a few months ago about how losing weight and deciding to prioritize his health “brought a change” to him, saying:

“After years of neglecting my health, I finally care about myself. I really gave up on myself when it came to food. I’m so proud of my weight loss, and I feel like my confidence has soared.”
