More like she went there, guys!
As previously reported, Jason Duggar married someone named Maggie Grace in Tennessee on October 3… just two months after the former reality star announced their engagement.
According to People Magazine, Duggar – the 12th child of evil parents Jim Bob and Michelle – exchanged vows in front of hundreds of guests at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek.
“We just have to have everyone together to celebrate, because you never get another day in your life when all your loved ones are together,” the excited bride told the aforementioned publication.
Given how quickly Grace and Duggar went from courtship to engagement and marriage, many celebrity gossip followers are now wondering:
Wait a minute, who is it? Is Maggie Grace?!?
Grace steered clear of anything related to her romance with Duggar on her Instagram, which is unfortunately par for the course for anyone who dates and/or marries someone in this conservative and polarizing family. .
However, the photographer who captured the newlyweds in honor of their engagement has opened up about the couple.
“These two really have the sweetest relationship I’ve ever seen. Jess is the most well-intentioned, kindest person and Maddie matches that energy perfectly,” the woman said a while back in a completely natural and non-scripted quote.
“She really is the most beautiful ball of light in any room. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful couple, and I can’t wait to see them officially become one!!
“What a joy it is to see God do something beautiful between two people.”
Duggar first met his brand new wife on Instagram in December 2023.
“I was basically lost there,” he said in an interview with People.
“I was talking [sister] Life. I was telling her, I was like, ‘Listen, honey, if you want to find a guy you’ve got to put yourself out there.’ So I was like, ‘Look, listen, I’m just going to find someone here, just to show you that I can do it.’
For her part, Grace said the Counting On alum “found her profile by chance” by “tapping the info button” and accidentally came across her profile picture.
“He was like, ‘Oh, she’s cute,'” she told People. “However, it was definitely a Godly thing. There’s no way we could have found each other. It was absolutely crazy.”
In May, Jason announced their relationship via a carousel of photos on social media, which showed the couple dancing on the beach and embracing in the middle of the ocean.
Jace and Maggie then attended a wedding together in June… before Jace agreed to marry Maggie later that summer.
“We literally became each other’s best friends and it all built from there,” Jason tells People. “The journey has shown us that we are perfect for each other.”
We send our best wishes to the newlyweds and we also congratulate them on the birth of their first child, which we estimate will be in about nine months.
