“My phone brings back memories every day,” Brown wrote on Instagram alongside one of these family snapshots. “Often they are pictures with Garrison. On good days (and today is a good day!) they make [me] Smile because I remember that incident and it was a fun day.”

Added the grieving parents:

“The after-glow is always bittersweet but it’s still a cool thing to see these time capsules.”

As you can see below, the main photo in question is a throwback photo featuring Garrison, son Gabriel, and daughter Savannah.

Garrison, as you may know by now, was the man who found his brother’s body in March. absolutely awesome.

The night before, Janelle had asked him to check on Garrison, because Garrison had sent disturbing messages, including mentions of suicide.

Still, “We had no idea he was in that place,” Janelle recently told People Magazine, adding that “substance abuse” likely contributed to Garrison’s mental state before his death. Had played a role.

It was also confirmed that Garrison had been drinking heavily when he shot himself in the head.

The Sister Wives star explained that she and her family members had “real conversations” about her son’s struggles and offered “resources” to help him overcome his addiction.

“We were always talking to him, we were loving him. The whole thing was there,” she told the aforementioned outlet.

“It was really something he couldn’t do… Like the demon he couldn’t get on top in battle. It didn’t seem to be ending. And it wasn’t just because of lack of love or lack of anything.

We are sure this is true.

However, sadly, one of Garrison’s roommates told police this spring that he had “conversed with Garrison recently about him being depressed.”

Shortly after Garrison’s suicide, Janelle and Kody Brown shared a joint statement on their respective Instagram pages addressing the terrible news.

“Cody and I are heartbroken to announce the loss of our beautiful boy, Robert Garrison Brown,” Jenelle wrote in her post.

“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. Their loss will leave a hole so big in our lives that it will take our breath away.

“We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
